DAY 15 - A SONG TO SING

Psalm 40:3
He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.  Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.

Psalm 42:8
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.

As my husband, David, and I sit in the hospital chapel, these words escape from his soul, "Briley has a song to sing!".

The Briley FAITH song is more than a melody.

So many hills climbed.  So many valleys visited.  While there, we sing.  Prayers knocking at Heaven's door.  Pleas of mercy laid at the Father's feet.  Hand in hand, in one accord, shaking the jasper walls with shouts of praise.  We sing.

We sing because we have been redeemed!  Redeemed by the blood of the lamb!  The ram in the thicket!  The calm in the storm!  The Peace in the valley!  Jehovah!  Master!  Savior!  Lord!  Alpha & Omega!  Immanuel!  Rock of Ages!  Yahweh!

Briley FAITH is singing.  Do you know the song?

Heavenly Father,

We come to You singing songs of praise because in You is everything!  YOU ARE THE SONG WE SING!

Thank You for sending Your only Son, Jesus Christ, to die in our place!  Not just for me, not just for Briley, her mommy and daddy, her brother, but FOR ALL!  Our prayer is Your purpose!  The reason behind the tears.  The reason for questions that cloud our mind.  Your purpose for Briley FAITH's song.  We pray that all over the world more will join the choir of the redeemed!  That more will be able to sing in their rain and have hope when all seems hopeless!

Because Your song is in our heart, we can come to You with our requests.  Our desires.  Because of Who You are we know You can cause Briley to digest her food correctly!  We know You can keep her kidneys healthy!  We know You can can give her adequate muscle strength to breath!  We know you can give wisdom to all those making decisions!  We know because we know You!  And You know us..the redeemed.  So, please hear our prayer as we sing.

In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
